TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: April 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using flockmysaddle.com, booking a service, or sending us a saddle for restoration, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Who We Are

Flock My Saddle ("we," "us," "our") is a specialist saddle flocking workshop based in Canterbury, Connecticut, operated by Kyrena Parkinson, a Society of Master Saddlers Qualified Saddle Fitter.

3. Services We Offer

We provide:

  • Complete Strip Flock with traditional British wool (from $400)

  • Premium Complete Strip Flock with kapok fiber (from $500)

  • Repair services (billet replacement, panel relacing, stitching repair)

  • Add-on services as quoted on consultation

We do not provide on-site fitting services. Our work is workshop-based restoration. We recommend you continue working with a qualified independent saddle fitter for on-horse assessments.

4. Booking and Pricing

Prices listed on our website are starting prices. The final price for your service will be confirmed in writing after we assess your saddle in our workshop. Additional charges may apply if we discover issues during in-shop assessment (such as needed billet replacement or tree damage).

Return shipping is not included in the service price. Shipping is invoiced separately based on weight and destination.

5. Shipping and Custody of Your Saddle

Please see our Shipping & Return Policy for the full terms governing how we handle saddles in our custody.

6. Payment

Payment is due before your saddle is returned to you. We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, electronic ACH, PayPal, Venmo. Saddles will not be shipped or released until payment is received in full.

7. Turnaround Time

Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days from the time your saddle arrives at our workshop. Rush service (1–2 business days) is available for an additional fee. Turnaround does not include shipping time. We are not responsible for shipping carrier delays.

8. Workmanship and Limitations

We perform panel restoration work to professional standards consistent with Society of Master Saddlers training. However, we cannot guarantee that strip flocking will resolve every fit issue. Saddle fit involves the saddle, the horse, and the rider; some issues require ongoing fitting adjustments by an independent fitter.

We document the condition of your saddle on arrival. If we identify pre-existing damage that affects the work or the safety of the saddle (such as a damaged tree), we will contact you before proceeding.

9. Tree Integrity and Safety

We inspect tree integrity as part of every assessment. If we find that the tree is broken, twisted, or compromised in a way that makes the saddle unsafe to ride, we will notify you and will not reassemble the saddle. We are not liable for pre-existing tree damage that we identify but did not cause.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Before your saddle ships to us: You may cancel at any time without charge.

  • After your saddle arrives but before work begins: You may cancel; you are responsible for return shipping only.

  • Once work has begun: Work in progress is non-refundable. We will complete work to the agreed scope and return the saddle.

11. Intellectual Property

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages (such as missed competitions, training disruptions, or veterinary costs).

We carry [business liability]. Customers are responsible for their own coverage in transit.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
